Brian's Blob Fish Challenge

I don’t know whaaaaat on earth was happening at the time, but a few years back Brian and I became very entertained by the idea of the blob fish. Have you ever seen one?

Go google it real quick and get back to me…

Okay so cut to a weekend where we can’t stop giggling about this blob fish. That ugly fish ends up in my head just long enough to become a loop —Thanks, ADD! And once I’m on a good ole loop God help me to get off it safely. Days later and my mind is STILL down this blob path. I became engrossed in this world I created in my mind of blob characters. All the while, Brian thinks they are hilarious and loves each new one more than the last (he’s a good husband).

Jump forward two years and you'll find me in the new house unpacking my studio and discovering this long list of fish characters I walked away from *cue cliche butterfly distraction* Now I’m picking the challenge back up and sharing it with the masses.

Here are the first few including a little intro of sorts. I’ll try to do one a week and you can catch them all in the galleries.

Have you ever seen a blobfish?

He looks a little slobbish.

I bet if he had one wish

He’d wish to look like you.

And if wishes he had two,

He’d ask for a wish three.

Then wish to look like me!

…then immediately regret it

And exclaim, “Oh, just forget it!”

He’d retreat deep in the ocean

To avoid all the commotion

And enjoy being

His blobby self again.
